Life & Other Stories by Tacchini

Tacchini is a philosophy. Behind every object there’s a story and behind every story there’s a person.

The Life & Other Stories collection encapsulates Tacchini’s belief that the home is a statement of the life experience and stories of its inhabitants. Tacchini’s icons of design enable objects, furniture and lighting to leave traces of rituals, moments and memories. The collection is celebrated with a photography series by Andrea Ferrari featuring decorative terrazzo flooring, vaulted frescoed ceilings and scenery evoking the Italian heritage of Tacchini.

Released at Salone del Mobile in 2022, a hero piece of the latest collection is Le Mura. Tacchini continues its path of rediscovery of the great design classics by presenting the modular sofa Le Mura by Mario Bellini, originally released in 1972. The re-edition was created in collaboration with Tacchini and the architect himself, transforming the design classic for the contemporary era. The timeless design and its infinite configurations allow Le Mura to suit large island-like shapes in vast public areas, or smaller formations for intimate residential spaces.

Similarly, the Victoria Lounge designed by David/Nicolas facilitates the art of conversation with the undulating modular configurations available. Victoria is defined by the tubular supporting frame that creates a crown-like motif at the rear of the lounge.

The effortless pairing of design classics with contemporary designs, is immediately apparent when the Pigreco chair designed by Tobia Scarpa in 1959, perfectly complements the Togrul table designed by Gordon Guillaumier in 2022.

The Life & Other Stories collection is accompanied by the latest accessories in the range, including the Gunta Screen, Sophia Lamp, Alma Lamp and Friedl, Luci & Marlene vases – all designed by Studiopepe. A range of stone based tables such as Kanji, Mill, Trampolino and Dolmen add to the organic and tactile aesthetic of the Life & Other Stories capsule.

“Interiors, as the combination of architecture and design, represent the most important chapters of designing: it is the moment to explore the essence of things and human being feelings. It is the way to shape a tailor-made layout for each spaces, with colours, finishes and materials backgrounds and furnishings. Home is the stage where everyday life acts.” – Giusi Tacchini, CEO & Art Director
