Saturday Indesign made a welcome return to Sydney, offering an immersive day of design for professionals and enthusiasts alike.
Across both StylecraftHOME and our commercial showroom, the versatility of Stylecraft’s local and international ranges spanning the residential, workplace and education sectors was on show with new releases by SKEEHAN, Ross Gardam, Tacchini, Haworth, Arper and more.
In our StylecraftHOME showroom, we presented new lounge collections; Hearth by Ross Gardam, Orsola by Tacchini and Leewise by Ritzwell. The latest Artemide windows designed by StudioX3 were unveiled, featuring iconic designs by the Italian illumination brand. Also in HOME, Melbourne-based photographer, Jack Lovel's latest exhibition, ‘Catching Light’ officially opened. The series features the architecture of Iwan Iwanoff reimagined through Jack Lovel's lens.
On our commercial showroom on Level 24 we celebrated Stylecraft’s longevity in the market since 1953 by showcasing an original Stylecraft desk, made in Melbourne in the 1960s. Contrasting the old and new, the latest workplace design releases from Haworth, Arper, Ross Gardam and Neatt Design inspired guests to visualise possibilities for today’s workplace.
We were fortunate to host an enlightening talk about the evolution of the education sector with guest speakers Tom Skeehan of SKEEHAN Studio, Craig Saltmarsh of Gray Puksand, Marina Carroll of Architectus attracting a crowd for the discussion.
‘We Are Stylecraft’ celebrated everything that makes us who we are – our people, our product and our passion for original design. Thank you to all who contributed to our Saturday Indesign event and to everybody who attended our showroom over the course of the day and evening. Congratulations to the winner of our competition, Brenda Schofield from Geyer, who drives away a Lambretta scooter!
