McIldowie Partners in associate with Emma Louise Interiors, re-worked an early 20th century warehouse building on the fringe of Melbourne's CBD for one of Australia's leading photography education institutions, the Photography Studies College.
The space is designed for professional photographers and immediately upon entry into the foyer, student's digital and physical media is displayed with a Kiik and Pix Ottomans by Arper in bold colours designed for seating to appreciate the works.
The space has designed with flexibility forefront of mind, so areas such as rooms with Okidoki Tables by ThinkingWorks and Cila Chairs by Arper, can be transformed from private study zones to collaborative environments.
“Ultimately, the success of the project lies with those who inhabit the space. We are hopeful that the outcome of our design continues to benefit its users and provide a stimulating environment of creativity, learning and development.”
