Located on Waymouth Street in Adelaide's CBD, the Press Food & Wine Club is set over two levels in a pre-19th century building.
Originally used as a printing press, the building was established in 1880 and has been transformed into a busy and well regarded restaurant and wine bar.
The earthy and natural feel of the fitout is achieved through the use of recycled timber and steel while the two levels of the venue offer two distinct looks. The downstairs is relaxed and casual with the use of long communal tables. Upstairs excudes elegance with the blue velvet seating, bronze mirror, copper joinery and Japanese black timber panelling all harking back to the 1920's when the building served as a billiard saloon.
The Catifa 53 timber leg chair by Arper and the Spike Stool by Stylecraft were used in the Press Food & Wine Club fitout by Claire Kneebone.
