We’re committed to sustainability and we value decisions leading to good practice for the climate and the world we live in. We translate this into an environmentally conscious approach to managing our business, and we were the first Australian furniture company to become carbon neutral in 2007. Community involvement in programs such as Clean Up Australia also embodies our approach to sustainability and involvement across Stylecraft.
We continue working to support our sustainable, ethical and environmental commitments to third party product certification, the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Ten Principles and Global Goals, and more recently to ensure compliance to the NSW Modern Slavery Act 2018 and the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO). We prioritise suppliers and manufacturers who are committed to sustainable practices, those with ISO14001 certification and products carrying European and Australian Eco Label accreditation which contribute towards Greenstar, LEED & WELL.
Overall, we aim to be transparent with reporting our sustainability practice and strive to develop and review our mission on a yearly basis.
